MANAMA: Osama Abdulla Al Absi has been appointed Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) chief executive officer for a three-year term, according to a decree issued by His Majesty King Hamad yesterday.

Apart from Indian Embassy officials, I would request the Ministry of Labour and LMRA to come forward to help the person, enabling him to leave the kingdom since he has not seen his family for six years. LMRA board reshuffled
MANAMA:
His Majesty King Hamad yesterday issued a decree reshuffling the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) board of directors.
Chaired by the Labour Minister, the new-look LMRA board comprises as members for a four-year term Sabah Salem Al Dosary, Dr Mohammed Ahmed Al Amer, Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Dr Khalid Mohammed Abdulla Taqui, Sager Shaheen Sager, Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Abdulla Mohammed Hussein and Ibrahim Hamad Abdulla.

The monthly fee levied by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) on each expatriate worker has been suspended for six months.
