The National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19) highlights measures and developments

The Chief Executive of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), HE Ausamah bin Abdullah Al Absi, highlighted that in April, in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the LMRA is supporting the private sector by suspended monthly work fees, as well as fees for issuing and renewing work permits for a period of three months. LMRA announces termination of monthly work fees

In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to support the private sector as the main engine of growth, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has announced the termination of monthly work fees and fees for issuing and renewing work permits for a period of three months, starting from 1 April 2020.
