LMRA fee freeze extended
The Cabinet yesterday decided to extend the freeze on the monthly Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) fee for an extra six months.
The freeze had started in April 2011 and was expected to end on December 31.
This brings the government’s moratorium to 27 months to further boost the national economy and support businessmen.

Twitter user posing as Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) CEO Ausamah Al Absi’s had been making malicious statements online.
The account which goes by a similar name, @Ausama_Alabsi only lacked the letter ‘h’ from the original name. The account made many tweets that were on Mr. Absi’s real account. In some cases, it had even taunted individuals. Continue reading
