In accordance to his Excellency the Minister of Interior decision No. 34 of 2021 regarding “Entry Visas and Residence Permits for the expatriate worker’s family members”, The employer will be able to apply new permits, renewal for expatriate worker’s family members (spouse / dependants up to the age of 24) Applicable only for workers whose monthly income is not less than 400 Bahraini Dinars via the Expat Management System (EMS). The Chief Executive Officer for the Labour Market Regulatory Authority Mr. Ausamah Bin Abdulla Al Absi received at his office last Monday 9th of June, 2014 the Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom, Her Excellency Hatun Demerir.
Ambassador Hatun applauded the Bahrain Labour market system, noting the outstanding efforts made by the LMRA and the progressive system adopted by the LMRA to Regulate and stabilize the Labour Market while protecting the rights of workers and employers. Continue reading

371,183 Registered Foreign Workers

FOREIGN workers registered with the LMRA have reached 371,183, according to the latest figures. They include 8,205 (5,942 men and 2,263 women) in the government sector, the majority of who are aged between 35 and 39. Another 351,314 are employed in the private sector (329,165 men and 22,149 women) – with the majority in the 25-29 age group. Continue reading
