LMRA CEO Receives Turkish Ambassador

The Chief Executive Officer for the Labour Market Regulatory Authority Mr. Ausamah Bin Abdulla Al Absi received at his office last Monday 9th of June, 2014 the Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom, Her Excellency Hatun Demerir.
Ambassador Hatun applauded the Bahrain Labour market system, noting the outstanding efforts made by the LMRA and the progressive system adopted by the LMRA to Regulate and stabilize the Labour Market while protecting the rights of workers and employers.

Her Excellency was briefed on the working procedures of the Authority including the Expat Management System (EMS) of the LMRA, which ensures the smooth transition of the transactions during every phase of the process under the “One-Shop stop” strategy, in addition to the reduction of the time required the system is also a means of controls and regulates the issuance of work permits for the Expatriate Employees. Both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of Information and the exchange of expertise.

The Chief Executive also discussed the employment situation of the Turkish nationals in Bahrain, Her Excellency thanked the Kingdom for attention and care exerted to the Turkish employees in Bahrain assured that they enjoy their full rights and pledged that the Turkish Embassy will spare no efforts to coordinate and bolster the cooperation at all levels with the LMRA with regards to its nationals as per the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
