Minister of Labour and Social Development Jamil Humaidan today received an Indonesian parliamentary delegation led by Ahmad Maoshul Affandy. Head of Parliament’s Service Committee, Abbas Madhi, was present.
The minister hailed the advanced Bahraini-Indonesian relations, chiefly in labour and social development area.
He gave an overview of the ministry’s efforts in combating discrimination and ensuring the expat labour’s rights.
The Indonesian delegation praised the Bahraini government’s interest in the Indonesian community and preserving human rights in all fields, stressing keenness to further broadening aspects of cooperation with Bahrain.
