PM – 27/04/2013  Manama-April-27(BNA)Labour Market Regulatory Authority Chief Executive Officer Osama bin Abdulla Al-Absi received Moroccan Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khatabi and briefed him on the labour market reform project and the new procedures for issuing work permits for the expatriate workers.

The two sides discussed the situation of Moroccan expatriate community in Bahrain and Bahrain’s efforts to protect the rights of foreign workers, taking into account the interests and rights of their employers. The Moroccan diplomat hailed the labour market reform project, lauding Bahrain’s care for Moroccan expatriate community.

He also stressed the embassy’s cooperation with the Labour Market Regulatory Authority regarding labour rules and regulations.
