LMRA allows under travel ban expats to obtain work permits

The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) announced today that it has reached an agreement with the Ministry of Justice regarding expats with a court-ordered Travel Ban, where they will be allowed to obtain a Work Permit, and subsequently legalize their presence in the Kingdom. Illegal migrants urged to comply with amnesty

Manama Illegal migrant workers are being urged to benefit from the amnesty and regulate their situation or leave Bahrain without penalties.The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow Up at the Nationality, Passport and Residence (NPRA) called upon the migrant community to comply with grace period so as bring their situation in line with the law.

LMRA Appoints 19 new inspectors

Nineteen new inspectors have joined the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) as Judicial Officers.
