More than 10 thousand foreign workers had corrected their legal situation since the launch of the grace period for undocumented migrant workers “Amnesty Period” Which was launched last July, and will last until the end of the 2015, expected to increase in the coming period especially with the end of summer and the return of business owners from their holidays. Illegal migrants urged to comply with amnesty

Manama Illegal migrant workers are being urged to benefit from the amnesty and regulate their situation or leave Bahrain without penalties.The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow Up at the Nationality, Passport and Residence (NPRA) called upon the migrant community to comply with grace period so as bring their situation in line with the law.
