“Labor Market” launches the flexible work permit, 2000 permits per month
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) launched the flexible work permit allowing illegal workers – who meet conditions – to work and reside in the Kingdom of Bahrain without a sponsor, in any non-professional job, full or part-time, and with more than one employer, for a renewable two year period. LMRA in new call to two-year-old boy’s parents
AUTHORITIES have pledged to not take legal action against the parents of a two-year-old boy, who was found in a busy suq on Wednesday night. They suspect the parents to be expatriates living illegally in Bahrain and have urged them to come forward to collect their son.
Bahrain participates in International Labour Conference
Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, has led the kingdom’s delegation to the 106th Session of the International Labour Conference, held in Geneva from June 4 to 16, with the participation of labour ministers from all over the world, as well as labour trade unions, experts, and representatives of the relevant organisations.
