Update contact details call

AUTHORITIES are urging expatriates in Bahrain to update their contact details to receive the latest information on their legal status.

The Labour Market Regulatory Authority has posted an alert on its official website, www.lmra.bh, advising residents to submit their mobile phone numbers so they could receive text messages about the expiration status of their passports and residence permits, among other notifications.

“We have looked into the contact details in our system and found that many contact numbers/e-mail addresses are not correct,” it said on its website.

The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) yesterday issued a joint statement with Tamkeen stating that there are no variations or “missing amounts” in the financial accounts of Tamkeen.
