The statements issued by Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Chief on ‘work permit’ and deportation of expatriates’ homemakers, who are employed as teachers across the Kingdom, has, undoubtedly, landed many private schools in a state of perplexity. Market Regulatory Authority chief executive Osama bin Abdulla Al Absi yesterday received Bangladeshi Ambassador Mohammed Ali Akbar and updated him on Expatriates Management System.
They also discussed co-operation in issuing work permits and the situation of Bangladeshi workers, the second biggest expatriate community in Bahrain.
