The Bangladeshi Embassy is anticipating a surge in the number of Easy Exit applicants with the advent of Ramadhan.

Over 4,000 illegal expats have left the Kingdom since the start of the Easy Exit campaign. Spokesperson for the supreme committee tasked with tackling the problem of illegal labour, Waheed Al Beloushi, revealed yesterday that more that 4,000 labourers have left under the scheme at a rate of around 500 a week. Four airlines have agreed to provide low priced tickets to expatriates taking advantage of the ongoing Easy Exit scheme. The airlines include the Kingdom’s national carrier Gulf Air, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Air India Express and Jet Airways which will all offer discounted prices.
