LMRA Conducts Four Joint Inspection Campaigns in the Capital, Muharraq and Southern Governorates

The Inspection campaigns included visits to a number of shops and work sites, to determine the extent of compliance with laws and regulations in order to preserve the competitiveness, stability and productivity of the labour Market.

The campaigns resulted in reporting violations related to the Labour Market and Residency laws. The cases were referred for legal action.

LMRA stated that two joint inspection campaigns were carried out in the Capital Governorate, in coordination with the Verdicts Enforcement Department at the Ministry of Interior.

The third campaign was in the Muharraq Governorate in coordinated with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and the Governorate Police Directorate, and the Agriculture and Marine Resources Affairs at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the Coast Guard Command.
