Nibras Mohammed Talib, CEO of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), met with Nouf Abdulrahman Jamsheer, Undersecretary for Research and Projects in the Prime Minister Office (PMO), to assume the duties of the LMRA.
The newly appointed CEO said it was important to continue building on the achievements of the LMRA to maintain the pace of development and growth. He noted that the LMRA was one of the main elements of the labour market reforms aimed at ensuring the rights of all parties in a regulated work environment to achieve social security and sustainable economic growth.
Talib congratulated Jamsheer on obtaining the royal trust by appointing her as Undersecretary for Research and Projects at the PMO.
He praised her efforts during her tenure in the LMRA, especially maintaining Bahrain’s (TIER 1) status in the U.S. Department of State’s Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report.
Jamsheer also congratulated Talib on obtaining the Royal Trust by appointing him as the CEO of LMRA, wishing him success in performing his duties.
She expressed her pride in working with all the employees of the LMRA in the past period, noting the authority’s promising national competencies and its tangible role in developing the labour market.
