LMRA Conducts Inspection Campaigns in “Capital” and “Northern” Governorates

The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) conducted three inspection campaigns on a number of shops and work sites.

The LMRA noted that a joint inspection campaign was conducted in the Capital Governorate in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and the Governorate’s respective Police Directorate.

The LMRA also conducted an inspection campaign with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in the Northern Governorate, while the LMRA’s Enforcement sector also conducted a separate inspection visit in the Northern Governorate.

The inspection campaigns resulted in recording a number of violations related to the provisions of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority Law and the Residency Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority renewed its call on all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies to address illegal practices in the labor market and irregular employment in order to protect society as a whole, calling on the public to report any complaints related to violations of the labor market and irregular employment by filling out the electronic form designated for reporting on the website.
