LMRA Chief Executive receives Philippine embassy delegation

Manama, Sept. 6 (BNA): Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), Noof Abdulrahman Jamsheer, affirmed the key role of the diplomatic missions in cooperating with the government bodies to enhance awareness of the expatriate workforce of their rights and duties and the laws and regulations to be taken into consideration in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

She was speaking as she received in her office a delegation from the embassy of the Philippines, led by Chargé D’Affaires, Anne Jalando-on Louis.

Both sides reviewed solid ties binding the two friendly countries and ways of bolstering them. They also discussed the conditions of the Philippine labour force in the kingdom.

The LMRA Chief Executive informed the Philippines embassy Charge D’Affaires about development of the labour market and the projects and initiatives launched by Bahrain to upgrade the work environment and protect the rights of all the working parties.

For her part, the Philippine diplomat affirmed keenness of the Philippines embassy on strong cooperation and coordination with the relevant parties in the kingdom to serve the Philippine community.
