LMRA Chief Executive Officer meets NCA officials

London, May16 (BNA): The Labour Market Regulatory Authority’s (LMRA) Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the National Committee for Combatting Trafficking in Persons, H.E. Mr. Jamal Abdulaziz AlAlawi stressed the importance of the specialized programmes provided by the  Regional Center Training and for Capacity Building in the Field of Combatting Trafficking in Persons.

This came as he held a meeting with the National Crime Agency (NCA) officials in London, the UK, to discuss training programmes that target different sectors.

The meeting focused on training programs developed by the agency in the field of combating trafficking in persons presentations and workshops, especially related to interviewing potential victims, building trust and gaining their cooperation.

The regional centre is planning to carry out a training plan during the last quarter of this year.

Al Alawi praised the level of cooperation and partnership with the United Kingdom, especially the National Crime Agency (NCA), stressing  keenness to benefit from the leading British experience and expertise in this field.
