Manama, July 9 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Chairman H.E Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, received outgoing Philippine Ambassador Alfonso A. Ver and commended his efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation.

He lauded the contribution of the Philippine expatriate community in Bahrain’s development drive, reiterated the Kingdom’s desire to further joint cooperation across all fields.

The Philipine diplomat praised Bahrain for the facilities provided to him during his tenure, commending the King’s developed laws and legislations.

He hailed Bahrain’s success for the fourth year in a row in maintaining its Tier 1 Status in the US Department of State Trafficking in Persons Report, which bolsters the Kingdom’s international standing in protecting human rights.
