LMRA committed to improving its services, says Minister

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, who is also the Board of Directors Chairman of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), has stressed LMRA’s commitment to continuously developing its services, through facilitating procedures and reducing transaction completion time, while maintaining the high accuracy of work, in line with the directives of the government in this regard.

The minister was speaking during his recent inspection visit to LMRA’s branch at the Bahrain International Airport’s new passenger terminal, in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), Mohammed Yousif Al-Binfalah.

Humaidan praised the efforts made to build the new passenger terminal, noting that the terminal’s reliance on qualified national competencies is a source of pride.

He pointed out that LMRA was keen to develop its Airport branch commensurate with the developments witnessed by the Bahrain International Airport, in order to be able to serve a great number of clients in a short period of time.

He indicated that the round-the-clock branch has been provided with highly trained, competent and skilled employees, adding that the number of transactions’ platforms has been raised to 12 so as to increase the branch’s capacity, and reduce the transaction completion time to only five minutes, including all services.
