LMRA chief meets PhD graduate

Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Chief Executive Officer Ausamah bin Abdulla Al-Absi received Advocate General Dr. Ali Al-Showeikh, who presented a copy of his PhD thesis from the University of Bahrain (UoB) College of Law.

Titled “Penal Protection for Human Trafficking Victims: Bahrain Legislations and Comparative Study”, the thesis called for the establishment of a Government fund to support human trafficking victims and shoulder their costs to return to their native countries in case they are foreigners.

Al-Absi, Head of the National Anti-Human Trafficking Committee, commended the dedicated efforts of Bahraini researchers, to conduct studies which may serve as useful sources of reference in the future. Al-Showeikh thanked the LMRA chief, Head of the National Anti-Human Trafficking Committee for support Bahraini competences for more achievements.
