Chief Executive of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Head of the National Anti-Human Trafficking Committee Osama bin Abdullah Al Absi received today the US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck.

They reviewed Bahrain’s efforts to combat human trafficking and the kingdom’s success to ensure stability of its rating in the annual report of the US Department of State after its name was removed from the watch list last year.

The US ambassador praised Bahrain’s anti-human trafficking efforts and achievements thanks to an advanced legislative system aimed at safeguarding the labour rights.
