LMRA board welcomes Premier’s directives

The Minister of Labour, also Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA)’s Board of Directors Chairman, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, has welcomed the directives of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister regarding the easing of LMRA’s transactions for employers and businesses in order to boost the national economy and enable Bahrain’s private sector to boost its role in the Kingdom’s development and progression.

The Minister said that the LMRA directors and executive management and in compliance with HRH the Prime Minister’s directives urge businesses and employers to avail from the bundle of facilitations recently endorsed by the LMRA and to pay up their outstanding LMRA fees in an easy and flexible installment plan.

Minister Humaidan also urged businesses and employers to be informed about the LMRA regulations in order to comply with these laws and avoid any unnecessary negative impacts which might result from non-compliance. He also urged employers to repatriate medically unfit foreign workers in order to protect the society from any epidemics.
