The Indonesian Ambassador to Bahrain Chilman Arisman lauded the labour market system in Bahrain, commending the extraordinary efforts made by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).He also expressed admiration of the advanced system adopted by LMRA to implement the comprehensive reform plan of the Bahraini labour market in order to ensure its stability through the protection of the rights of both workers and employers.
This came as the CEO of LMRA Osama bin Abdulla Al-Absi received here today the new Indonesian Ambassador, accompanied by the Indonesian Embassy’s third Secretary, and informed him about LMRA’s Reform Project and the executive steps taken so far to implement it, noting that the scheme aims to develop national human resources, protect the rights of expatriate labour force and strike a balance between the rights of employers and employees.
The two sides also discussed the situation of the Indonesian workforce in the kingdom.
In this regard, the Indonesian envoy hailed the extraordinary care accorded to Indonesian workers in the kingdom, adding that they enjoy their full rights.
He also asserted that the Indonesian Embassy will spare no effort to cooperate and coordinate with LMRA to train Indonesian workers on the kingdom’s laws and LMRA’s regulations and e-services.
