We read with interest the news item ‘Saudi Job Push’ (GDN, May 31), wherein they advised that the work permits of foreign workers who have spent more than six years will not be renewed.

How about Bahrain? Will LMRA clarify the situation with regard to employees above 60? We see expats, particularly Asians, 65 or above, still in employments, not giving chance to locals.

Can anyone advise the rules with regard to expats above 60?
