Hats off to LMRA!

I am out of words to express how much I am impressed with the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).

Everyone said a no-sponsorship system means employees ditching employers and it wouldn’t work. But LMRA has pointed out it actually will. Knowing that expat labour would be as easily available as local labour and that frequently jumping expats would fall expensive for the company, this would make employers understand that local labour is better.

On the other hand, every employee will know that if  he did not perform then he could be easily replaced with another.

This is a double-edged sword and hats off to LMRA for noticing it.

I hope you are able to implement this system.

Congratulations.
