MANAMA: The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Tamkeen (Labour Fund) made presentations for Asian businessmen at a forum.

The event was organised by the Bahrain Asia Trading Committee (BATC) of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

LMRA chief executive Ali Radhi made a presentation on “How to work with LMRA”.

Tamkeen chief executive Abdulellah Al Qassimi talked about the fund’s objectives.

The theme of the forum was: The private sector is the engine of growth for the economy”.

More than 200 delegates, mainly Asian businessmen, attended the forum, where BATC also launched its first bulletin, which features a directory of the members and their activities.

The presentations were followed by a question-answer session.

Asian ambassadors and representatives of Asian banks and Asian airlines also attended.
