{"id":741,"date":"2009-09-23T11:02:47","date_gmt":"2009-09-23T08:02:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/?p=741"},"modified":"2009-09-23T11:02:47","modified_gmt":"2009-09-23T08:02:47","slug":"free-medical-checks-for-300-at-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/2009\/09\/23\/free-medical-checks-for-300-at-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"Free medical checks for 300 at camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A FREE medical camp for more than 300 workers will be held at the Gulf City Cleaning Company&#8217;s labour accommodation in Salmabad tomorrow<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The event, which begins at 7pm, has been organised by the Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF).<\/p>\n<p>Senior medical consultants will conduct examinations for workers and an ICRF-sponsored buffet dinner will be served to participants.<\/p>\n<p>Employees will also be given health awareness and safety tips and Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>The ICRF, functioning under the aegis of the Indian Embassy, has been holding regular medical camps for many years.<\/p>\n<p>It has already conducted 68 free medical camps, benefitting more than 15,700 workers.<\/p>\n<p>ICRF also provides financial assistance to critically ill people for travel to India for further treatment.<\/p>\n<p>A 24-hour helpline (17713509) is available for emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>For more information call Indian Community Services (ICS) general-secretary John Philip on 39224482.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A FREE medical camp for more than 300 workers will be held at the Gulf City Cleaning Company&#8217;s labour accommodation in Salmabad tomorrow<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[11],"tags":[13,141,251],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.6 -
