Consequently, several workers who violated the regulations and laws were arrested, and measures were taken to deport them in conformity with the applicable legal mechanisms in place.<\/p>\n<p>LMRA\u2019s Director of Labour Inspection, Mr. Hamad Faisal Al Mulla pointed out that this campaign is in line with LMRA\u2019s ongoing intensive efforts in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and relevant government authorities for upgrading the work environment and confronting all negative practices which adversely affect the labour market\u2019s competitiveness, equality, flexibility, and the social security.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Al Mulla underscored the importance of the society\u2019s significant role in bolstering the efforts and endeavours exerted by of the governmental authorities for fostering better social well-being and achieving health and economic stability.<\/p>\n<p>The Nationality, Passports &amp; Residence Affairs NPRA\u2019s Director of Investigation &amp; Follow Up, Colonel Talal Nabil, made reference to the continued joint inspections in collaboration with government authorities to detect CRs in all governorates which mis-use work permits, in addition to ensuring adherence to LMRA\u2019s residence laws and regulations, as part of the unwavering efforts exerted by the Ministry of Interior and LMRA in combatting the phenomenon of irregular labour.<\/p>\n<p>Colonel Talal Nabil further emphasized the significant role assumed by the society in fostering the efforts of government authorities in combatting illegal practices, calling upon the public to report any complaints in this respect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), represented in the Law Enforcement Sector, launched an inspection campaign in the Muharraq Governorate on Monday 17th January 2022, in collaboration with the Nationality, Passports &amp; Residence Affairs NPRA of the Ministry of Interior &hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/2022\/01\/19\/as-part-of-its-ongoing-efforts-in-combatting-illegal-practices-lmra-launches-inspection-campaign-in-muharraq-governorate-and-deports-violators\/\">Continue reading <span class=\"meta-nav\">&rarr;<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6],"tags":[1100,1070,1098,1073,1099,532],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.6 -
