939w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A number of illegal expatriate workers are to be deported in compliance with the law, <!--more-->said the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).<\/p>\n<p>The violators were arrested during a clampdown conducted in the Northern Governorate by LMRA Labour Inspection Directorate in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and Police Directorate of Northern Governorate.<\/p>\n<p>The joint inspection clampdown aimed to ensure expatriate workers comply with the LMRA regulations and law on residence in the Kingdom of Bahrain.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement today, the authority announced that it would step up inspections in cooperation with competent authorities, within the joint efforts with the Ministry of Interior.<\/p>\n<p>LMRA inspectors will continue checking commercial registers countrywide to crackdown on any illegal practices which are detrimental to the labour market.<\/p>\n<p>Complaints related to the labour market or\u00a0 illegal expatriate workers can be reported via LMRA communication centre 17506055.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style
