He pointed out that cooperation between the government bodies and the prosecution will boost the efforts to fight this crime according to law 1\/2008 and related ones. He added the move will also accelerate redress for the victims and granting them their rights after punishing the perpetrators. He also stressed readiness of the national committee to provide all support to the prosecution to back its efforts in redress and assisting the victims.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Dr. Al Shewikh expressed thanks and appreciation to Al Absi for his efforts through chairing the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, pointing out Bahrain\u2019s achievements in this respect over the past years and keenness to build on them.
