{"id":404,"date":"2008-06-26T00:00:22","date_gmt":"2008-06-25T21:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/?p=404"},"modified":"2008-06-26T00:00:22","modified_gmt":"2008-06-25T21:00:22","slug":"new-edict-on-lmra-fees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/2008\/06\/26\/new-edict-on-lmra-fees\/","title":{"rendered":"New edict on LMRA fees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PRIME Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday issued an edict relating to fees levied by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).<\/p>\n<p>According to the decision, fees will be reimbursed in full should the LMRA abrogate the work permit before the expatriate worker&#8217;s arrival.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Employers will also be repaid fees for remaining months if a worker switches to another employer before the expiry of his contract.<\/p>\n<p>The LMRA will charge BD10 for each application for change of jobs.<\/p>\n<p>A BD2 fine will be charged for each late payment of the monthly BD10 fee, with total accumulated fines not exceeding BD6.<\/p>\n<p>The LMRA is officially commissioned to levy fees and fines on late payments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PRIME Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday issued an edict relating to fees levied by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).
