{"id":3329,"date":"2016-11-30T09:36:28","date_gmt":"2016-11-30T06:36:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/?p=3329"},"modified":"2016-11-30T09:36:28","modified_gmt":"2016-11-30T06:36:28","slug":"lmra-boosts-cooperation-with-embassies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/2016\/11\/30\/lmra-boosts-cooperation-with-embassies\/","title":{"rendered":"LMRA boosts cooperation with embassies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/11\/final.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3330\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/11\/final.jpg\" alt=\"final\" width=\"1024\" height=\"373\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/11\/final.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/11\/final-300x109.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.lmra.gov.bh\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/11\/final-500x182.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA)&#8217;s CEO Ausamah bin Abdullah Al-Absi has stressed the importance of partnership and coordination between the LMRA and the embassies of countries exporting workers to Bahrain regarding the Flexible Work System approved by the Cabinet in September.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The LMRA plans to apply the new system in the second quarter of 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Al-Absi made his remarks on Monday during his meeting with ambassadors of countries exporting workers, pointing out that this meeting comes as part of the LMRA mechanisms to communicate with all parties that will support its efforts to do its best part in regulating the labour market.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The LMRA is keen on enlightening workers about their rights and obligations in cooperation with their respective embassies to adjust the status of expatriate workers in the Kingdom and to avoid legal accountability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Al-Absi emphasized the importance of the support and assistance from the embassies of workers-sending countries regarding the importance of engaging expatriate workers take advantage of the new system of flexible work which provides a legal alternative that preserves the rights of &#8216;violating&#8217; workers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The ambassadors expressed their support for all the efforts within the context of preserving workers&#8217; rights.
