The freeze on fees levied by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has been extended until June 31. The moratorium which took effect last April, was scheduled to end late this month. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The lifeline was announced by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa who chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace.<\/p>\n<p>The Premier gave directives to delay the increase in fees levied on commercial registrations from BD30 to BD50, initially scheduled to take effect on April 1.<\/p>\n<p>The financial and economic affairs committee was also directed to co-ordinate with the Labour Ministry and the LMRA officials to gauge repercussions of the fees on the trade sector.<\/p>\n<p>The session also discussed the current economic, trade and labour situation in Bahrain.
