LMRA CEO highlights Bahrain’s Efforts in Combatting Trafficking in Persons
The CEO of the Labour Market Authority (LMRA), Nouf Abdulrahman Jamsheer, met with officials and representatives from the Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit of the US Department of Justice, the Wage and Hour Division of the US Department of Labor, and the US Department of Health and Human Services, in Washington D.C.
She additionally met with the Middle East Institute and its representatives in a roundtable discussion on Bahrain’s efforts in Combatting Trafficking in Persons.

Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), Noof Abdulrahman Jamsheer, has affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to share its efforts to consolidate the culture of respecting human rights and combating trafficking in persons with the International Community, by putting its accumulated experiences in this field at the disposal of countries wishing to develop procedures and mechanisms to address this international crime.
