The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) announced the monitoring of a number of violations related to the provisions of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority Law and the Residence Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain, during the three inspection campaigns carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, in the Capital, Muharraq and Northern Governorates.
The inspection campaigns included visits to a number of shops, work sites and labor gathering places, to determine the extent of compliance with regulations and laws regulating the labor market.
H.E. Mr. Nibras Talib, CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, received at his office H.E. Ms. Anne Jalando-On Louis, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Excellency Nibras Mohamed Talib, CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Trafficking in Persons, participated in the 13th session of the Working Group on Trafficking in Persons, held in Vienna, organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), in the attendance of Mrs. Shereen Al Saati, Director of Grievances & Protection Centre and member of the National Committee for Combatting Trafficking in Persons.
