The Executive Vice President for the Administrative and Financial Affairs Sheikh Fawaz bin Hamad announced about the implementation of new procedures to rationalize fiscal spending and maintaining public money in addition to the compatibility with the requirements of preserving the environment where it was decided the transition to electronic invoices instead of paper starting from the 1st of June 2015.He confirmed that the shift to electronic billing comes in order to convey with the community development, in which electronic transactions are era feature, noting that sending electronic invoices will shorten the time to reach to all clients at the same time, as well as maintaining ongoing communication with employers through continuous updating of the data.
He clarified that the monthly electronic bills will be sent through SMS message and through emails for those who are registered in LMRA data base, which were registered by the clients themselves, calling on clients to quickly update their data via access to their accounts on LMRA official website to ensure the reception of monthly electronic bills with ease.
Clients can also get a printed copy of the invoice by visiting one of LMRA branches from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM and for 6 days a week in four post offices, which is Isa Town Post Office, Hamad Town Post Office, Riffa Post Office, Budaiya Post Office, Al Hidd Post Office which clients can complete their transaction from 7:30 Am to 2:00 PM 6 days a week, in addition to LMRA headquarters in the Authority official working times from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM from Sunday to Thursday (five days a week), in addition to visiting Ahli United Bank or Helal Islamic Banking Services in order to query request and pay using the CR number.
He added that all procedures have been taken to inform each client who receives the monthly bills for labour fees to move to the new electronic -orientation, which will include another paper bill issued by LMRA which will be sent to them by post with a printed warning of the new system, as has been the completion of the development of the new system of electronic invoices requirements to ensure the arrival of the invoices smoothly and ease to clients without significant difficulties.
Sheikh Fawaz confirmed that LMRA is keen to develop and facilitate LMRA services provided to you based on clients suggestions and study of their needs, with the adoption of electronic – orientation of the monthly bills by sending it to the registered mail in LMRA and also by providing it through LMRA website site, where the clients can print and refer to the details in the case it is needed. He also called on all clients to inform LMRA of any developmental suggestions that they prefer and pour in the orientation of flexibility and convenience.
