H.E. Mr. Nibras Talib, CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, received at his office at the Authority H.E. Mrs. Rethesree Wigertney Mendes, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The CEO discussed with the Sri Lankan Ambassador the bilateral relations between the two countries, noting the importance of cooperation with diplomatic missions to ensure a fair and stable work environment by raising awareness amongst expatriate workers about their rights and duties and the importance of adhering to the laws and regulations in the Kingdom. They also reviewed the efforts and initiatives implemented by the Kingdom to enhance the work environment.
