The Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), Chairperson of the National Committee for Combating Trafficking in Persons, Mr. Nibras Talib, received Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Vinod Kurian Jacob.

The Chief Executive welcomed the Indian Ambassador, wishing him success in his duties in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The LMRA CEO affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to enhance cooperation and coordination with the Republic of India on several fronts.

The CEO noted the

importance of the cooperation between diplomatic missions and government agencies in raising awareness amongst expatriate workers on their rights and duties, and the regulations and laws that must be observed.
