With the participation of a number of government agencies
The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), in coordination with several government agencies, carried out three joint inspection campaigns in the Capital Muharraq and Southern Governorates which resulted in monitoring a range of violations related the provisions of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority Law and the Residency Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain and others.
The Authority explained that an inspection campaign was carried out in the Capital Governorate, in which the Ministry of Interior represented by the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Evidence, the General Directorate of Civil Defense, and the Governorate Police Directorate, in addition to the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC), and the Ministry of Tourism.
Two joint campaigns were also carried out in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and security directorates in the Muharraq and Southern Governorates.
LMRA renewed its call to all members of the society to support the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal labour practices, by reporting violations via the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.gov.bh or by calling the authority’s call centre on 17506055.
