Her Excellency Nouf Abdul Rahman Jamsheer the Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority received in her office at the LMRA Headquarters, Mr. Bambos Charalambous MP, Shadow Minister for the Middle East and North Africa in the United Kingdom.

Ms. Jamsheer underscored the strong relations and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, stressing the importance of further advancing them.

During the meeting she also showcased the Kingdom’s efforts in developing the work environment and preserving the rights of all parties. She highlighted the most prominent initiatives, projects and measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain aimed at bolstering the labour market, among which are the recently launched labour registration system, which is based on the partnership with the private sector, the optional insurance system for domestic workers, in addition to the wage protection system which aims to ensure the payment of workers’ wages in a timely manner and reduce labour disputes.
