The Labour Market Regulatory Authority LMRA’s Chief Executive Officer CEO and Chairman of the National Committee for Combatting Trafficking in Persons H.E. Mr. Jamal Abdulaziz AlAlawi expressed great pride in the academic levels and professional expertise of LMRA’s personnel in the various positions across the organization. This was proudly announced during his meeting with the researcher, Mrs. Haifa Burashed – LMRA’s Chief of the Legal Affairs Section, who presented to him a copy of the thesis of her master’s degree which she has earned with second class honours from the Royal Police Academy – the Officers College. The thesis is titled “The forced labour crime, a form of trafficking in persons”.

Commenting on this occasion, H.E. Mr. AlAlawi said: “We have the greatest admiration for our young national caliber who exert unrelenting efforts in maintaining their leading role in the frontlines of building the prosperous future and overall development of the Kingdom”. “We seize the occasion of the International Woman Day and praise the unwavering support of all LMRA’s female employees, who carry out exceptional efforts in upgrading the quality of the services and implementing the best practices”, he added. “We deeply appreciate their remarkable contributions in fostering the national growth of the Kingdom in various domains, especially in the field of scientific research”, H.E. Mr. AlAlawi concluded.
