Action is being taken against a manpower agency that supplied domestic workers without a licence.

The director-general of the General Department of Investigations and Forensic Evidence said that in co-operation with the Labour Market Regulatory Authority legal steps were taken against the unlicensed agency.

Some female workers who worked for the organisation on an hourly basis in violation of the law were arrested. Legal procedures were taken.
