Chief Executive of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Head of the National Anti-Human Trafficking Committee Ausamah bin Abdullah Alabsi received today newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Mohammed Ahmed Chaban. He welcomed him, wishing him every success in his diplomatic duties to boost bilateral relations and cooperation.

Both sides discussed the situation of the Egyptian labour force in Bahrain, stressing their commitment to the kingdom’s laws and regulations.

Alabsi praised cooperation of the Egyptian embassy in handling issues related to the Egyptian workers and explained the role of LMRA as one of the economic reform projects in charge of regulating the relation between the three production sides and providing high quality services imparting vitality to the kingdom’s economy.

The Egyptian ambassador lauded the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain to protect the labour rights, expressing keenness on bolstering bilateral cooperation.
