The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has celebrated Bahrain Sports Day by organising various sports activities for its staff, with the participation of the LMRA Chief Executive, Ausama Abdullah Al Absi.
The LMRA personnel shared the collective activities of football, basketball, 3-km walkathon similar to their peers in the Kingdom’s ministries, directorates and institutions following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, with the support of the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, dedicating February 13 as Bahrain Sports Day that reflects the leadership’s keenness on citizens’ health and safety.
The nationwide event aimed to promote sound physical and mental attitudes, body fitness and healthy lifestyles as well as strengthening the community bonds.
The LMRA staff availed from free medical checkups conducted in association with Ministry of Health and Bahrain Specialized Hospital.
