The inauguration of the KMCC Help-desk for LMRA Amnesty workers was inaugurated by LMRA Client Service Asst. Manager Mr Fahad Bushar and LMRA Client Service Supervisor Mr Hussain Samahij , at the KMCC Headquarters in Manama.
The Help-desk will function under the guidance and support of LMRA .

They have trained a group of volunteers from KMCC to look after the functioning of the Help-desk. The Amnesty period was implemented by LMRA with effect from 1-7-2015 to 31-12-2015 to give an opportunity for those expatriates who are staying illegally in the country to legalise their stay or to leave the country without any fine .

To educate and to reach-out to the maximum number of expatriates , KMCC has printed a large number of brochures in English and in other Indian languages like Hindi, Malayalam , Tamil, Kannada and Telugu , which were also released during the inaugural ceremony. During the event LMRA officials answered the queries of the public.

The event was presided by the Help-desk Chairman C.K. Abdulrahman . Help-desk Convener Shafi Parakkatta welcomed the gathering .KMCC State President SV Jaleel, Gen Sec Assainar Kalathingal and Chandrika Newspaper Bahrain Governing Chairman Alia Hameed Haji spoke on the occasion. Help-desk officials Ismail performed the Qira’at and Thevalakara Badusha proposed the vote of thanks.
