In order to regulate the increasing number of illegal workers in the Kingdom, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has been told to increase the number of inspections.

The Cabinet also directed Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa to coordinate between the government entities including the Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry to review land classification and municipal licenses to ensure that residential areas are free from commercial disturbance.

Select provisions of the Air Transport Agreement with Australia were also amended. The Cabinet also approved the Air Services Agreement with Tajikistan.
