LMRA chief Executive Mr. Ausamah Bin Abdulla Alabsi received an official delegation from the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal on Tuesday 24th of June, 2014. The delegation included Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour of Nepal Mr. Surya Prasad Shrestha, senior officials from the Nepalese Ministry of Labour and accompanied by Nepalese Consul to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

LMRA CEO and the visiting delegation discussed ways to boost cooperation between LMRA and the Ministry of Labour of Nepal, in order to develop cooperation, joint action, exchange of expertise and information in the Labour Market.

Mr. Alabsi also discussed the situation of Nepalese employees in the Kingdom, he noted that the Nepalese employees are dedicated and committed to their work and stated that according to LMRA statistics 98 percent of the Nepalese workforce in the Kingdom of Bahrain are abiding by all laws and regulations. He added that there are a total of 15245 employees from Nepali nationality in the Kingdom.
