The Labour Marketing Regulatory Authority (LMRA) yesterday said that the issuance of the electronic bills for the expats’ fees will be started in the beginning of next month. The authority has asked the business owners to update their electronic data in order to ensure that they receive their bills electronically.

The Executive Vice President for the Administrative and Financial Affairs Shaikh Fawaz bin Hamad said, “The smooth working of this service is subject to the business owners updating their data through the authority’s official website.”

He added that this service comes as part of continuous efforts put by the authority to introduce the direct fees payment procedure in the authority headquarters or through any of the Al Ahli Bank branches as well as via the electronic payment.
