With an aim to strengthen bilateral bonds between Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and embassies of different Asian countries, the authority’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ausamah Al Absi hosted ambassadors of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Indonesia and Sri Lanka for a business lunch at the Capital Club.

Mr. Al Absi stated that the lunch with the ambassadors of the main labour supplying countries is part of the LMRA mechanisms to communicate with the supporting parties of its regulative works.

The officials discussed several topics such as coordination in raising awareness among workers, apart from their duties and rights, as well as exchanging visions and experiences in the labour sector.
